Amidst the deluge of ransomware attacks, and the new log4j vulnerabilities that have engulfed the cyber security sector, the Bureau of Labor Statistics issued a correction to their previous news statement on December 10, 2021 which now confirms that “The all items index rose 6.8 percent for the 12 months ending November, the largest 12-month increase since the period ending June 1982.” As the CPI sees record-setting gains across the board, cyber security vendors across the nation are issuing statements about upcoming rate increases.
